Deskside Engineer (Santa Fe)

Responsibilities

• Provide Install, Move, Add, Change, lMAC, Break‑Fix and end user support activities as required.
• Where required provide support for the Manufacturing Shop‑Floor handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices.
• Perform data collection preservation activities as they relate to migrations and or eDiscovery.
• Stage Build and Image systems with standard client image aka eCore.

Lead the implementation and management of End User Tools ensuring efficient and effective use across the organization.

• Oversee the maintenance and support of Windows environments ensuring systems are up‑to‑date and secure.
• Provide expert networking solutions to enhance connectivity and performance within the organization.
• Manage desktop support operations ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement improvements in IT processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues providing guidance and support to junior team members.
• Implement best practices for IT service management to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
• Provide training and support to end‑users to enhance their understanding and use of IT systems.
• Contribute to the development of IT strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Good Communication Skills.
• Good Analytic Troubleshooting Skills.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Windows Operating System.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and basic business application.
• Good Customer Support Skills.
• Minimum 2 years desk side support services.
• Basic knowledge of networks, telecom, and compute storage.
• Basic knowledge of mobile device support.

Certifications Required

• CompTIA A+ Certification
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
