DC Safety & Security Specialist

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Strategic & Operational Leadership​

• Support the implementation of Safety, Security, and Loss Prevention strategies within the DC.​

Specialized Operations & Administration​

• Provide guidance to the DC team and support planning, execution and follow-up of educations and trainings in all relevant Safety, Security, and Loss Prevention areas.​

• Support insurance coordination through knowledge of claims processes.​

• Assist in coordinating security services and technical solutions based on set standards and operational needs.​

Performance Analysis & Decision Support​

• Assist in measuring and analyzing KPIs to follow up on Safety and security standards across DC-locations.​

• Analyze shrinkage, by conducting inspections and investigations, reporting findings in compliance with global guidelines and local legislation.​

• Support budget tracking and results follow-up related to security within the DC.​

• Maintain and follow up on accurate incident and accident records, raising awareness and ensuring transparency and accountability to mitigate risks within the DC.​

• Compliance, Risk & Governance​

• Assist in ensuring DC adherence to H&M global Safety, Security and Loss prevention policies, standards and local legislations.​

• Conduct risk assessments and inspections within the DC in adherence with global policies and local legislation, taking corrective actions as needed to ensure people safety.​

• Health, Safety & Sustainability​

• Contribute to the development and training of the Crisis Response Plan.​

• Assist in maintaining emergency procedures, including evacuation plans, first aid, fire safety in compliance with global guidelines and local regulations.

• Support the implementation of the Code of Ethics program within the DC and assist in collaboration with 3PL and suppliers.​

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with…

• Solid expertise in Safety, Security, and DC operational processes, with the ability to support implementation and compliance efforts.​

• Preferred experience in Occupational health and safety and Health and Safety compliance.​

• Strong understanding of global policies, standards, and local legislation, ensuring adherence to Safety & Security requirements and the Code of Ethics program.​

• Proactive approach in identifying and addressing potential risks in Safety, Security, Loss Prevention, and compliance, assisting in mitigation strategies.​

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and provide actionable insights.​

• Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, internal teams and external partners.​

• Ability to support teamwork and knowledge-sharing, contributing to a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.​

• Organizational and planning abilities, knowledge in assisting in tracking initiatives, compliance efforts, and safety protocols.​

• Competent in administration tools, such as Office 365 and other digital solutions for documentation, reporting and coordination.​

• Demonstrates a natural curiosity and a solution-oriented mindset, proactively identifying opportunities, solving challenges, and continuously seeking ways to improve processes and outcomes.
