Materials Sr Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Materials Sr Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily scheduling operations to ensure production plans are executed efficiently. You will lead the planning team, manage resources, monitor performance, and drive operational excellence while optimizing efficiency, controlling costs, and resolving production-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the production schedule to ensure customer orders are completed on time and available for shipment as scheduled.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support the maintenance and accuracy of work orders to ensure requirements are properly reflected in the JDE, CTB, and S&D systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and other cross-functional teams to establish production priorities and execute the production plan.
• Communicate production results, project progress, and key performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Monitor scheduling performance and identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency and resource utilization.
• Support problem-solving activities related to production planning and delivery performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or a related role.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, or QAD.
• APICS certification is preferred.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) – Required.
• Strong knowledge of production planning processes, scheduling methodologies, forecasting principles, and KPI management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to think strategically and drive continuous improvement.
