FSP Associate Manager Clinical Operations

Associate Manager overseeing daily clinical operations team management and professional development at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Manages staff performance, training, and resourcing while collaborating with senior leadership on strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees and manage team onboarding
• Manage staff performance, conduct evaluations (PAVs), and handle hiring, counseling, and separation processes
• Deliver and develop training on SOPs, WPDs, and local requirements; identify and address training gaps
• Review project metrics and KPIs using clinical operations systems to support project delivery
• Escalate quality issues, coordinate QA audits, and support audit responses from direct reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
• 0–5 years of related experience in clinical operations or equivalent field
• 1+ year of leadership responsibility or team management experience
• Knowledge of clinical trial management systems (CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity)
• Familiarity with risk-based monitoring approaches and quality assurance processes
