Social Media Manager

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager based in Mexico to lead local social media operations and develop a content strategy. This role will be responsible for building brand presence, improving online sentiment, managing local content execution, and driving audience engagement across digital platforms. Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Operations

• Develop and execute localized social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube
• Build monthly content calendars aligned with branding and campaign objectives
• Manage day-to-day social media operations, publishing schedules, and community engagement
• Monitor social sentiment and proactively manage online reputation

Content & Campaign Execution

• Collaborate with design, branding, and marketing teams to create localized content
• Lead content ideation for UGC, trend-based content, educational content, and campaign storytelling
• Support influencer and KOL/KOC campaign execution
• Ensure all content aligns with brand positioning and local market tone

Performance & Insights

• Analyze platform performance, audience behavior, and campaign effectiveness
• Generate regular reporting and actionable insights to improve engagement and growth
• Stay updated on platform algorithm changes, social trends, and competitive activities in Mexico

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content marketing
• Strong understanding of Mexican social media culture and consumer behavior
• Proven experience managing brand social media accounts at scale
• Experience in fintech, lifestyle, consumer internet, or startup brands is preferred
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
• Familiar with social analytics tools and content planning systems
• Experience working with influencers, creators, or PR agencies is a plus
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Creative thinker with strong execution ability
• Able to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
• Fluent in Spanish and English
