Digital Factory Manager

Jabil is seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented Digital Factory Manager to lead the Digital Factory transformation strategy across LATAM manufacturing operations. This role will drive the implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement of Digital Factory applications, MES4 systems, and Industry 4.0 initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.

The ideal candidate combines deep manufacturing operations expertise with strong digital transformation leadership, enabling operational excellence through automation, smart manufacturing, data-driven decision making, and scalable technology solutions.

This is a highly visible regional leadership opportunity with direct impact on productivity, quality, operational efficiency, and long-term manufacturing strategy execution across LATAM operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and execution of Digital Factory and MES4 initiatives across LATAM manufacturing sites.
• Drive Industry 4.0 transformation strategies focused on smart manufacturing, automation, connectivity, and operational excellence.
• Partner with Operations, IT, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to identify business needs and implement scalable digital solutions.
• Standardize Digital Factory applications and best practices across regional manufacturing operations.
• Analyze manufacturing KPIs and operational data to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision making.
• Lead cross-functional transformational projects ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, budget, and measurable business impact.
• Support adoption of digital tools, systems, and data-driven operational behaviors at both leadership and shopfloor levels.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, quality, downtime reduction, cost optimization, and inventory management.
• Coach and develop teams to strengthen digital capabilities, accountability, and a results-driven culture.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and external partners to execute regional digital manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure governance, risk management, and sustainable implementation of Smart Manufacturing solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Automation, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience within manufacturing operations, digital transformation, or smart manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience leading Digital Factory, MES, Industry 4.0, or Smart Manufacturing initiatives in complex manufacturing organizations.
• Strong understanding of:
• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Automation technologies
• IoT and connected manufacturing environments
• Data integration and analytics platforms
• Smart factory concepts
• Demonstrated success delivering operational improvements through digitalization initiatives.
• Experience leading cross-functional and multi-site projects across Operations, IT, Engineering, and leadership teams.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and organizational change management capabilities.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Fluent English required.
• Availability to travel internationally across LATAM regions.
• Visa availability preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Digital Transformation, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or MBA.
• Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, Scrum, or Industry 4.0.
