STIVA 2 Focus Factory Manager (Ciudad Apodaca)

Position Summary

We are looking for a Focus Factory Manager.

Responsibilities

• The Focus Factory Manager manages the operations of a manufacturing line or department and is responsible for ensuring that the assigned production area is operated in the most profitable and efficient manner, while maintaining the correct level of quality.
• Directs Production Supervisors, maintains the safety of the area, schedules assignments, balances the line, evaluates and controls the build, monitors fulfillment of customer production and quality requirements, controls scrap and rework, and documents all activities.
• Acts as the primary contact for in‑house departments regarding production issues in the assigned area.
• Directs Production Supervisors in the plant and coordinates production work through familiarity with all manufacturing processes.
• Maintains a continual awareness of safety, quality, efficiency, scrap, and production schedules.
• Motivates and directs the training of Production Supervisors and other staff.
• Trains and develops individuals, instilling a sense of responsibility and evaluating them on their progress.
• Analyzes and determines staffing requirements.
• Studies daily operating results, meets daily with subordinates, and consults with Supervisors on solutions to production problems, ensuring that problems have been corrected.
• Maintains cooperation between departments.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed by all manufacturing team members.
• Informs employees of deficiencies and violations and takes corrective action, if necessary, to ensure that procedures and practices are being followed.
• Assists in maintaining OSHA compliance on the plant floor and provides safety training on a continuous basis.
• Ensures correct distribution of staff and assists with training for all new or transferred employees, coordinating temporary staff requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree in related fields is highly desirable.
• At least +5 years of experience in production, manufacturing, and maintenance; computer literate and proficient in the use and application of Office programs.
• Strong customer service attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
• High proficiency in the English language.
