Be part of our team that values a wide range of perspectives and is committed to shaping a better world with every product we create.Location: GuadalajaraWorkplace type: HybridAs a Collection Analyst LATAM, you will support the accounts receivable and collections processes across LATAM, ensuring timely and effective collection of past due accounts, accurate cash application, and resolution of discrepancies while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.What will you do:Perform timely and effective collection of past due accounts to reduce DSO and support cash flow objectivesProcess, post, and apply customer payments in SAP, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation with open itemsInvestigate and resolve payment discrepancies, including overpayments, short payments, and deductionsReconcile customer accounts and ensure integrity of accounts receivable recordsCommunicate with customers to follow up on payments and resolve disputes professionallyCollaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Credit, Accounting, Treasury) to resolve billing and payment issuesMonitor collections performance and escalate significant delinquencies or risks when necessaryMaintain accurate documentation, notes, and customer account recordsSupport invoice delivery, customer portals, and exception handling processesParticipate in process improvement initiatives and support special projectsWhat you will bring:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field1 to 5 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, cash application, or similar areasUnderstanding of A/R and collections processesAdvanced Portuguese (mandatory) and advanced English proficiencyProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExperience with SAP or other ERP systems preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyWho you are:Strong communicator with good customer service and collaboration skillsOrganized and detail-oriented with strong follow-upTeam player with ability to work in a fast-paced environmentProactive with willingness to learn and growAble to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesProblem-solver with a practical and hands-on approachNice to Have:Experience managing multinational or large-volume accountsExperience with deduction management and dispute resolutionFamiliarity with customer portals and shared services environmentsExposure to LATAM markets and cross-cultural collaborationWhy Join Ingredion?Discover why Ingredion is the ideal place to advance your career with our exceptional rewards and benefits package designed to help you thrive.
