Sales Director LATAM (Mexico or Brazil)

OnMobile is looking for a Director of Sales to lead both existing business performance and new growth across Latin America.
We’re seeking a leader who can open doors and close strategic deals with top-tier telecom operators while also strengthening long-term partnerships, driving recurring revenues and improving account health across our current footprint.
This is a front-line, high impact role with direct ownership of pipeline creation, strategic account development, renewals&expansions. You will lead a distributed team of Regional Account Managers, ensuring disciplined execution across forecasting, commercial plans and operator stakeholder management.
The role will drive growth for OnMobile Digital Services, including Gaming platforms across telecom operators, by combining new customer acquisition with account management, retaining and expanding existing accounts, maximizing ARPU and delivering sustained revenue outcomes across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive business acquisition across LATAM, with a strong focus on Mexico and Brazil while expanding into new high-potential markets.
- Revenue tracking & predictability: together with Regional Account Managers to monitor recurring revenue streams, forecast, flag risks and drive accountability on corrective actions to protect run-rate and hit quarterly targets.
- Proactively identifying, approaching, and closing new Tier-1 Telco operators, partners, and distribution channels.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, leveraging direct outreach, industry network, and strategic prospecting.
- Identify and unlock revenue streams, including new product positioning, partnerships, and monetization models within digital services and gaming.
- Design and execute market entry strategies for new countries, including business cases, competitive positioning and go-to-market plans.
- Maintain and expand footprint within existing accounts by upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new digital services.
- Maintain C-level relationships within telecom operators and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with global teams (Product, Marketing, Operations) to adapt offerings to local market needs and accelerate deal closures.
- Act as the regional People Director and strategic mentor, to ensure a high-performing team fully aligned with Onmobile’s global objectives.
- Key point of reference within the LATAM Management and Sales leadership teams, driving a culture of excellence, cross-functional cohesion and organizational integrity across all regional operations.
Professional Experience- Required Skills
- Strong relationship with Telco’s. Proven experience in the Digital Mobile content industry is required for the position.
- Strong network within Telco’s preferably with C-Level, excellent communication and presentation skills.
- 8+ years of experience in B2B selling Digital Content & Services to Telcos, business ideally within a regional or multi‑country Latin American scope.
- Proven track record in opening new markets and acquiring new clients, from strategy to execution and closing.
- Experience leading and developing teams, with strong people‑management skills and the ability to build a performance‑driven spririt.
Personal Competencies required
- Ability to move quickly to implement ideas and deliver results in a fast-paced online environment.
- Solid experience managing complex, multi-country deals and long sales cycles.
- Experience leading teams, while remaining hands-on in sales execution
- Deep understanding of the digital services and mobile ecosystem
- Language: English: Fluent ; Portuguese: Fluent; Spanish: desirable
