Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for two (2) of the following: Infrastructure/Systems Administration, Networking, DevOps, Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data and Analytics, Application‑level services, Serverless, Applications Development in a distributed systems environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related discipline required, or equivalent work experience.
• Able to communicate effectively in English within technical and business settings.

Role Overview

At AWS Enterprise Support we’re looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support our customers’ creative and transformative spirit of innovation across all technologies. This is not a sales role, but an opportunity to be the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Advocate and provide strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, proactively keeping customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy.
• Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business and technical needs, driving technical discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade‑offs, risk management, and adoption of AWS services.
• Work with appropriate engineers and service teams to resolve customer support issues and see issues through to resolution.
• Proactively craft and execute strategies to drive customers’ adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and many more.
• Represent AWS within a customer’s environment, driving discussions on incidents, support, and risk management.
• Travel 10 % or more as needed.
