Wholesale Trade Marketing Manager

Position Summary

The Wholesale Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the Trade Marketing strategy for the Wholesale channel in Mexico, with a strong focus on accelerating sell-out, strengthening brand visibility, improving in-store execution, and driving commercial performance across key wholesale partners.

This role will work closely with Sales, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, Product and Finance to translate brand and commercial priorities into impactful initiatives at the point of sale and across partners' digital platforms.

The ideal candidate combines a strong commercial mindset, strategic thinking and hands-on execution , with deep knowledge of the Mexican wholesale and indirect retail landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Wholesale Trade Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute the annual Trade Marketing plan for the Wholesale channel, defining priorities, commercial moments, product launches, activations and investment strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Sell-Out Acceleration: Design and implement programs to accelerate sell-out across wholesale partners, identifying key commercial opportunities, seasonal moments and promotional initiatives to drive product rotation and revenue.
• In-Store Activations & Brand Visibility: Develop and execute high-impact point-of-sale initiatives, including POP materials, displays, visual merchandising solutions, product launches and consumer experiences that strengthen brand presence.
• Wholesale Partner Development: Build strong relationships with key wholesale partners, understanding their commercial dynamics and identifying opportunities to increase brand visibility, distribution and sell-through.
• Digital & E-Wholesale Execution: Develop digital Trade Marketing initiatives with key partners to increase traffic, conversion and brand visibility across their e-commerce platforms and digital channels.
• Sales Force Training: Create and implement product training programs, sales clinics and tools for wholesale partners' sales teams to strengthen product knowledge, storytelling and conversion at the point of sale.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Key Account Managers, Brand Marketing, Product, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure successful product launches, inventory availability and execution of commercial initiatives.
• Budget & Investment Management: Manage the Wholesale Trade Marketing budget and co-investment programs, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
• Performance & KPI Management: Track and analyze key indicators including sell-in, sell-out, product rotation, campaign performance, inventory and ROI to identify opportunities and optimize future initiatives.
• Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitors, market trends, consumer behavior and execution at point of sale to identify opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to the business.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Wholesale Marketing, Commercial Marketing or related roles, ideally within fashion, sports, lifestyle, footwear, apparel or consumer goods .
• Strong experience managing Wholesale, indirect channels, distributors and/or traditional wholesalers in Mexico .
• Proven experience developing and executing sell-out strategies, point-of-sale activations and commercial campaigns .
• Strong understanding of pricing, margins, promotional mechanics, commercial investments and budget management .
• Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with commercial teams and external wholesale accounts.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects involving Sales, Marketing, Product, Supply Chain and Finance.
• Analytical and commercially driven mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable business opportunities.
• Strong project-management and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple partners, campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
• High availability to visit wholesale partners and points of sale throughout Mexico , ensuring strong execution in the field.
• Advanced English preferred.

This is a full-time, on-site position , based at our Santa Fe office in Mexico City , Monday through Friday.
