CIMMYT seeks dynamic individuals with orientation to results and with teamwork skills for the position of Fleet Mobility Coordinator to be part of the Accounting Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily fleet operations, including vehicle assignment and scheduling
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service intervals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date fleet records, including registration, insurance, maintenance logs, mileage, and fuel usage
- Ensure compliance with local, state, SRE, and federal transportation regulations
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs, fuel management, and TAG administration
- Track and manage fleet‑related costs and support budgeting and cost‑reduction initiatives
- Investigate vehicle incidents, accidents, and insurance claims, ensuring proper documentation and follow‑up
- Communicate with drivers regarding vehicle usage, policies, and safety procedures
- Support fleet safety programs and ensure driver compliance with internal policies
- Assist with procurement, replacement, and disposal of fleet vehicles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, transportation, or a related field
- Experience working with vendors and managing operational processes
