About the role

As a General Manager , you will lead the Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Complex , a large-scale operation comprising five hotels. Your main mission will be to plan, coordinate, and oversee the overall performance of the complex, ensuring operational excellence, strong business results, and alignment with brand standards. You will play a key role in driving profitability, guest satisfaction, and long-term asset value, while strengthening commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall operation of the complex, ensuring alignment across all areas and consistent execution of standards.
• Own the financial performance (P&L), driving results through budget control, forecasting, and corrective actions.
• Contribute to commercial and revenue strategy, monitoring key metrics (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR) and identifying growth opportunities.
• Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction, promoting continuous improvement across all properties.
• Oversee the budgeting cycle, financial closings, and operational KPIs to support decision-making.
• Lead CapEx and investment projects, ensuring alignment with business and operational priorities.
• Ensure the implementation of brand standards and service excellence.
• Represent the complex, managing relationships with owners and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, ESG commitments, and safety standards.
• Lead and develop teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

What are we looking for?

• University degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration or related field. A postgraduate degree in Hotel Management is a plus.
• Proven experience as General Manager or senior operational leader in large-scale hotel operations, preferably within resorts or all-inclusive environments.
• Solid track record in managing full P&L responsibility, with the ability to drive profitability and optimize business performance.
• Solid understanding of hotel operations combined with good exposure to commercial and revenue management dynamics.
• Experience leading complex, multi-unit operations and managing diverse teams.
• Strong business and results orientation.
• Decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent in English and Spanish. A third laguage will be valuated.
