Are you a technically strong imaging professional who enjoys solving DICOM routing, modality connectivity, and image dataflow problems?

At Impact Advisors Mexico, you’ll work at the intersection of PACS, VNA, DICOM routing, and modality integration—supporting enterprise imaging implementations, migrations, and optimization initiatives for U.S. healthcare organizations.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technical analyst who understands how images move between modalities, archives, and viewers—and who is passionate about image availability, data integrity, and reliable imaging operations.

What You’ll Do

Imaging Platforms & Applications

· Support, configure, and troubleshoot PACS, VNA, RIS (including Epic Radiant), and enterprise imaging applications.

· Support deconstructed and traditional PACS architectures across imaging environments.

· Support post-processing and advanced visualization applications used across imaging service lines.

· Support imaging platform upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives.

DICOM Integration, Routing & Modality Configuration

· Design, configure, and troubleshoot DICOM routing rules to support imaging workflow and dataflow.

· Perform DICOM integration work—sending and receiving images between PACS systems, archives, and modalities.

· Make and validate configuration changes on radiology modalities across multiple modality vendor platforms (e.g., GE, Siemens, Philips, Carestream).

· Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve modality configuration and image data routing issues.

· Apply knowledge of DICOM, HL7, IHE, and key data attributes within imaging dataflows.

Infrastructure, Cloud & Networking

· Work across Unix and Windows operating systems in support of imaging platforms.

· Apply working knowledge of networking, IP, DNS, AE Titles, and local device addressing.

· Support hybrid, private, and public cloud imaging environments across leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Support, Troubleshooting & Service Management

· Manage incidents, requests, and changes through ticketing and workflow processes such as ServiceNow.

· Coordinate with modality and imaging vendors through established vendor support processes.

· Provide implementation, cutover, and post-go-live support for imaging platforms and integrations.

Collaboration & Consulting

· Partner with clinical, technical, and vendor teams to support imaging technology initiatives.

· Work within Agile and traditional project management approaches and tools.

· Communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and progress to project leadership.

· Contribute to a collaborative healthcare IT consulting environment focused on client impact.

What You’ll Bring

Required

· Medical imaging knowledge and hands-on experience with PACS, RIS, and imaging applications.

· Solid knowledge of DICOM, HL7, Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE), and key data attributes in imaging dataflows.

· Experience with DICOM integration—receiving and sending images between PACS systems and modalities.

· Working knowledge of DICOM routers in the context of imaging workflow, dataflow, and routing rules.

· Experience making modality configuration changes across multiple modality vendor platforms (e.g., GE, Siemens, Philips, Carestream).

· Experience with modality configuration and image data routing analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.

· Working knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems.

· Knowledge of networking, IP, DNS, AE Titles, and local device addressing.

· Working understanding of work and ticketing processes (e.g., ServiceNow).

· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

· Bachelor’s degree in a science or technical discipline (Computer Science, Data, Engineering, or related) desired.

Nice to Have

· PACS vendor experience such as Sectra, Visage, Carestream, Philips, GE, Siemens, Agfa, Fuji, or Hologic.

· VNA vendor experience such as Hyland/ACUO, Mach7, Fuji, Agfa, or Canon.

· DICOM router vendor experience such as DICOM Systems, ACUO, Hyland, Laurel Bridge, Candelis, or Data First.

· Experience with post-processing and advanced visualization applications such as GE Advantage Windows, TeraRecon, MedisSuite, RAPID, Syngo.Via, Arterys, HeartFlow, Icometrix, iSchemaView, Vitrea, or Vital Images.

· Knowledge of Epic Radiant.

· Familiarity with deconstructed and traditional PACS approaches.

· Experience with cloud computing platforms (hybrid, private, or public) and leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

· Familiarity with other imaging domains and technologies such as endoscopy, digital pathology, and point-of-care ultrasound—including vendors such as Butterfly, Qpath, or Heidelberg.

· Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) imaging tools such as Aidoc, Annalise, Viz.ai, Riverain, or Subtle Medical.

· Familiarity with Agile methodology, project management approaches, and related tools.

· Former PACS Administrator experience.

· Experience working in a major health system (AMC, IDN, or large integrated system) or at a leading imaging vendor.

· Previous consulting or client-facing experience.

· Active involvement in the imaging industry.

· Experience supporting U.S. healthcare organizations.

Certifications (Preferred)

· CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional) through the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM)

· ARRT Certification (former technologists highly valued)

· Epic Radiant Certification
