Director of Engineering (Tijuana)

We are currently seeking a talented Director of Engineering to lead our team at our offices in Tijuana.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Lead the design and development of pumping equipment using Solidworks, ensuring adherence to design standards, quality, and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including R&D, software development, and manufacturing, to integrate IoT capabilities into our pumping systems.
• Develop and implement engineering processes and standards to streamline design workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure design integrity.
• Oversee the creation of detailed engineering drawings and documentation, including bill of materials (BOM) and assembly instructions.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering, IoT development, and pump design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a focus on product design and development.
• Extensive experience with Solidworks and other CAD software.
• Experience managing engineering teams and leading complex projects from concept to production.
• Familiarity with IoT development concepts and technologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Pay

$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per month
