Assistant Controller - Financial Analysis (Ciudad Cerralvo)

The adecuado candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA/CP) with strong manufacturing finance experience, deep understanding of standard costing and inventory processes, and experience supporting ERP implementations and CPM/reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Oversee and analyze standard costing, inventory valuation, PPV/MUV analysis, cost roll processes, manufacturing variances, inventory reconciliations and cycle counts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including audit requests, reconciliations, supporting documentation, and communication with auditors.
• Partner closely with operations, supply chain, and plant leadership teams to support business decisions and improve financial performance.
• Develop and improve financial processes, reporting tools, and operational KPIs.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA/CP) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, inventory management and controls, financial reporting, US GAAP, taxes and compliance, audit support and coordination.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
