Job Overview

Dematic is looking for a SAP Finance and Controlling Developer responsible for configuration changes, developments, and enhancements on different SAP Systems (ECC and S/4HANA).

Responsibilities

• Work on roll‑out and implementation of new business applications and functionality specifically within the SAP Finance and Controlling space.
• Responsible for successful implementation of SAP, including providing functional and technical expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to users.
• Experience with intercompany processes in SAP.
• Design and implement core functionalities of SAP GL, AA, COPC, COPA, revenue recognition, credit management, cost‑center management, billing and material ledger.
• Facilitate the gathering of requirements, design, implementation, and support of SAP FICO to enhance users’ business functionality and performance.
• Configure the SAP system in the SAP FI/CO areas to meet requirements collected during blueprinting sessions.
• Analyze business requirements, write and develop functional specifications, and implement required solutions efficiently.
• Strong ABAP skills are mandatory to cover the requirements for this position.
• Optional: Analyze business requirements, design, and implement SAP Fiori developments and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or a similar field.
• 3+ years of experience in the SAP Finance and Controlling module.
• Experience working in at least two S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP GL, AA, COPC, COPA, and overall SAP functional integration with other components/modules.
• Strong technical knowledge and 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and coding.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter‑company Accounting, Project System, and Management Accounting.
• Understanding of integration with SAP modules such as MM, QM, CO, PP, PM, WM, SD, and FI.
• Prepare instruction manuals and training material for end‑user training.
• Experience preparing data migration templates and performing data extraction, cleansing, and uploading.
• Experience working with global teams.
• Proficient in project management tools, e.g., JIRA.
• Strong communication skills; English required at C1/C2 level.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally.
