About the Role

As Project Engineer, you will support the customer in the planning, coordination, and execution of new equipment installations within an existing manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless integration of new production assets while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations and maintaining alignment with project objectives, timing, and quality requirements.

What You’ll Actually Do

As Project Engineer, you will support the customer in the planning, coordination, and execution of new equipment installations within an existing manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless integration of new production assets while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations and maintaining alignment with project objectives, timing, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of detailed installation and commissioning schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional planning activities between production, maintenance, logistics, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress against defined milestones and proactively identify schedule risks and potential bottlenecks.
• Drive issue resolution through structured escalation management and timely stakeholder alignment.
• Ensure installation activities are executed in accordance with safety, operational, and production requirements within the brownfield environment.
• Facilitate regular project review meetings and maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders.
• Track action items, dependencies, and critical path activities to ensure on-time project execution.
• Support the coordination of equipment suppliers and contractors during installation and ramp-up phases.

Project Management & Reporting

• Prepare and present weekly project status reports to customer management.
• Monitor project timelines, key performance indicators, and milestone achievement.
• Maintain project documentation, risk registers, and action tracking systems.
• Escalate critical issues impacting project timing, cost, quality, or operational readiness.
• Provide management with clear visibility on project status, risks, mitigation actions, and recovery plans.

Expected Outcome

• Successful integration and installation of new equipment within the existing production environment while ensuring adherence to project timelines, operational stability, and customer requirements.

What We Are Looking For – Technical Skills

• +4 years industrial experience
• +3 years project management
• Equipment Planning
• Project Management
• Degree: Industrial Engineer/Mechanical Engineer
• English Advanced / Business Level is also a must
• German basic (optional)
