Inviting applications for the role of Supply Chain Analyst - Materials Planning! (SAP & MRP) - Hybrid

Your Role

You will work with clients to run their material planning function. Our focus is on technology-enabled business transformation, and we partner with some of the most advanced planning systems providers. You will impact business results by implementing effective material/production planning and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the material planning key experience working key stakeholders to create and manage the material plan analyzing inputs for supply planning, procurement, PMO and distribution
• Identify key material risks to support Sales and Operations Planning, incorporating that into business contingency planning while maintaining strategic inventory values.
• Define order volumes based on adjusted aggregated demand, capacity, and constraints.
• Create long-term demand forecasts, considering inputs from multiple projects and stakeholders; and share that forecast information with other parts of the organization and suppliers.
• Measurement and reporting of trends to assist in identifying opportunities for increased forecast accuracy and process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to effective decision-making capability.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to generate actionable insights from large qualitative and quantitative data
• Ability to collaborate with Customer, planning and purchasing to identify optimal opportunities that affect the business.
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned deliverables and follow-up actions, ensuring timely completion.
• Independently investigate planning issues and develop alternative solutions prior to escalation.
• Utilize available systems, reports, and historical data to resolve issues and support decision-making.

Qualifications we seek in you!

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree
• Strong understanding of advanced planning systems and its functionality.
• Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.
• Demonstrated experience in materials or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
• Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute to a collaborative team environment
• An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities.
