Field Sales & Business Building work is focused on face-to-face selling of a variety of products, services and/or solutions to the end customer via intermediaries such as distributors and re-sellers (i.e., channels) including:

Face-to-face selling to new channel partners/distributors and cross/up/repeat sales to existing channel partners/distributors Maintaining and expanding existing relationships with organizations distributing products, services and/or solutions.

Developing and delivering product demonstrations, sales bids and presentations to channel partners/distributors and may also train channel partner/distributor sales personnel in product use and sales techniques.

Managing the relationship with the channel partners/distributors.

ACCOUNTABILITY

With minimal supervision, leads a team of entry-level or mid-level professionals.

Coaches team members on the job, helping them improve their efficiency.

Sets goals for team members to achieve results that affect the sub-function in the short term.

KNOW-HOW

Works together with customers and other teams to ensure everyone follows practices, policies, and procedures.

Deploy indirect channel activation initiatives to ensure a consistent and high-quality consumer experience and acquisition at points of sale. Provide to be a point of reference/ buddy.

KNOW-HOW

Advanced proficiency in indirect retail operations, including stakeholder engagement, channel activation, and consumer experience management.

Proficient in managing non-routine tasks and making sound decisions within the scope of responsibility, requiring minimal supervision.
