Process Specialist III

Location: Tlajomulco de Zuñiga.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, perform and implement assembly processes in automotive projects.
• Knowledge of SMT process, preparing of programs for: ASYS laser, EKRA printer, PARMI AOI/SPI, FUJI P&P, viscom xray, REHM oven, SCHUNK milling.
• Design experiments and characterize processes with statistical tools.
• SW minitab in the areas of: SMT, Waves, Conformal, Selective Welds.
• Define product‑specific tools and fixtures.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Review engineering design drawings and DFX reports for manufacturability.
• Monitor production activities and recommend improvements.
• Support teams, specifying, implementing and improving their performance.
• Evaluate and qualify new manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.
• Develop work procedures and instructions.
• Training of department technologists, analysis of new projects, specifying machines and tools, collaboration with ME, TSM.

Qualifications

• Advanced English.
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree.
• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and give in improvements.
• Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput.
• Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in‑house capabilities and gives in.
• Core Tools.
• Certification Green Belt is Plus.
• Leadership.
