About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Civil Engineer with a strong background in concrete work to join our construction team in Idaho. The role involves working on a variety of projects including small commercial buildings, schools, and large residential units. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who is as comfortable on‑site with the crews as they are with project plans and technical calculations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and work alongside teams responsible for setting out levels, carpentry, steel fixing, and concrete pouring.
• Ensure all work is carried out to high‑quality standards and in compliance with engineering specifications.
• Take an active, hands‑on role in the physical aspects of the work.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and site teams to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks.
• Oversee concrete mix designs, placement techniques, and curing processes to ensure optimal results.
• Conduct inspections and resolve on‑site technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation and site records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory for TN visa eligibility).
• Proven experience in concrete construction, including commercial and/or large‑scale residential projects.
• Ability to work closely with and direct carpenters, steel fixers, and concrete pourers.
• Strong understanding of site set‑out and leveling processes.
• Willingness and ability to undertake physical, on‑site work alongside engineering responsibilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Eligibility for the TN Visa program (Canada/Mexico nationals).
