Client Partner

We are looking for a seasoned Client Partner to lead and grow a strategic BFSI account—someone who doesn’t just manage relationships but truly owns them. In this role, you become the trusted face of Impetus for the client—building deep, lasting relationships while continuously uncovering new opportunities for growth. You balance a farmer’s mindset , nurturing the account with care and consistency, with a hunter’s drive to expand its potential. It’s a leadership role where you’re not just driving revenue—you’re shaping a partnership, unlocking growth, and delivering meaningful business impact.

Skills Required:

Strategic Account Management

  • Focus on developing and implement a strategic account plan and drive 20% YOY revenue growth within the assigned account(s), ensuring revenue and gross margin targets are met or exceeded.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all matters related to assigned customers, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead and/or help develop industry-specific best practices to cater to other Impetus customers in the same vertical.

Client Relationship Management

  • Leverage executive-level relationships to strengthen the company’s presence and strategically utilize team resources for impactful client engagement.
  • Present Impetus' capabilities, offerings, and solutions within the account(s) to expand its footprint.

Solution Development & Delivery

  • Support and facilitate delivery teams to ensure client success and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with client teams, pre-sales engineering, and delivery teams to build winning sales proposals and establish strong client relationships.

Business Development

  • Create, leverage, and manage ABM plans for organic growth and brand visibility within the assigned account/s.
  • Leverage the ecosystem of cloud and data partners to find new opportunities for growth.
  • Present overall Impetus story comprising of capabilities, offerings and solutions within the account(s) to expand Impetus footprint.

Advocacy & Collaboration

  • Represent the customer's needs and interests within Impetus.
  • Foster a positive team culture by building enthusiasm, collaboration, and support within and outside the organization.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with Client and Impetus leadership

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software or consulting sales, with at least 7 years focused on demonstrating track record of closing large, complex enterprise deals and building strong senior executive relationships.
  • Drive strong revenue growth & pipeline development with focus on market expansion & account penetration.
  • Proven success selling in closing strategic opportunities with ability to analyze data, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to improve account performance
  • Proven experience in client relationship management and strategic account management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at executive levels.
  • Ability to collaborate globally aligned effectively across sales, delivery, marketing, and product teams

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred

Pay Range:

This offers a very competitive base salary and in addition, we offer a bonus which is dependent on achievement of targets by the role-holder as well as the organization. We offer a competitive salary consistent with industry standards.
