Contact Center Specialist

We are looking for a Contact Center Specialist to join a leading healthcare services organization. This role will serve as a key point of contact for patients and healthcare consumers, providing professional and empathetic support through inbound and outbound calls.

The ideal candidate has strong call center experience, advanced English proficiency, and a Bachelor's degree , with previous experience supporting healthcare-related campaigns highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound calls from patients, providers, and healthcare consumers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments across healthcare facilities and clinics.
• Provide accurate information regarding healthcare services, providers, locations, and procedures.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and registration details.
• Address customer concerns and resolve inquiries while maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction.
• Accurately document customer interactions in EHR, CRM, and other systems.
• Collaborate with clinics, providers, and internal support teams to resolve patient needs and service issues.
• Navigate multiple computer applications while managing calls efficiently.
• Follow established contact center procedures, workflows, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations .
• Consistently meet quality, productivity, attendance, and service-level performance goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree — mandatory.
• Previous call center/contact center experience — required.
• Advanced / very strong English proficiency — required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently across multiple systems and applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Healthcare Experience — Preferred (Nice to have)

Previous experience working on healthcare campaigns is strongly preferred.

Relevant experience may include:

• Handling ambulance or emergency calls.
• Answering insurance-related questions.
• Working with medical terminology.
• Patient scheduling or registration.
• Customer support within a healthcare environment.
• Healthcare administration or patient access.
• Experience using healthcare systems such as Epic or other EHR platforms.
