Position Summary
Based in Mexico City, the Sales Manager will own the commercial strategy and execution for the Mexican market. This role requires a hands-on leader who can both think strategically and execute relentlessly.
You will manage key sporting goods & lifestyle accounts, develop growth plans, secure premium in-store visibility, and drive sell-in and sell-out performance — while building and interacting with a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Strategy & Key Accounts
- Own and drive the commercial strategy for key sporting & lifestyle retailers.
- Build aggressive, data-backed business plans per account.
- Identify whitespace opportunities and unlock growth.
- Negotiate space, visibility, activations, and commercial terms.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with strong analytical insights.
2. Sales & Performance Ownership
- Deliver and exceed monthly and annual sell-in targets.
- Drive sell-out acceleration with clear action plans.
- Monitor KPIs: Sell-In, Sell-Out, Margin, Inventory Turnover, Market Share, Credit Balance.
- Ensure flawless execution on orders, deliveries, and launches.
- Partner with Marketing to maximize retail activations and seasonal campaigns.
3. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as commercial lead with Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain.
- Provide sharp input on pricing, inventory, and go-to-market strategy.
- Ensure product storytelling and execution excellence at retail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5–7+ years of commercial experience in: Sporting goods, Sports fashion, Footwear, Athletic lifestyle brands
- Proven track record managing major retail accounts.
- Experience leading teams and driving measurable growth.
