Overview

At Amazon, we're revolutionizing how people shop, and we're seeking a high‑impact commercial profile to drive our vendor acquisition strategy in Mexico. As a Business Development Manager in our Consumables team, you'll be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing deals with top‑tier brands and manufacturers within the consumables verticals (consumer goods).

Responsibilities

• Identify untapped market opportunities and convert them into vendor partnerships for Amazon Retail in Mexico.
• Lead negotiations and close complex commercial deals with senior executives, articulating Amazon's value proposition.
• Build data‑driven business cases to influence decision‑makers and drive mutual growth with partners.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to onboard vendors and support growth initiatives.
• Expand product selection and ensure sustainable vendor relationships to delight customers.

Qualifications

• Experience driving internal cross‑team collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of professional experience in commercial roles with demonstrated success in closing strategic negotiations.
• English proficiency.
• Preferred: Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross‑functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals.
