Financial Services Specialist

The Financial Services Specialist is focused on resolution of past due accounts within the parameters of existing credit and collections policies as well as decision making and judgment regarding accounts receivable and account reconciliation.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage a portfolio of accounts receivable for an assigned territory
• Contact customers to secure payment commitments and follow up on payment status
• Investigate reasons for non-payment and elevate issues when necessary
• Serve as a liaison between customers, sales, and service teams to resolve disputes and initiate credit memos as needed
• Contact customers to resolve past due balances prior to order release
• Secure purchase orders from customers when required
• Prepare and support accounts receivable and collections reporting and analysis
• Process electronic invoicing for customer accounts
• Perform account reconciliations, provide supporting documentation, and submit refund requests or tie‑offs to resolve account discrepancies
• Review account status, obtain payment commitments, and document all relevant activity within internal systems

What You Will Need to Succeed

• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency in data entry and account maintenance activities
• Excellent customer service and customer‑oriented communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and responsibilities
• Comfortable working in a target‑driven environment
• Fluent English communication skills, including advanced written English

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant accounts receivable or collections experience
• High school diploma preferred
• Additional education or equivalent work experience considered a plus
