Role Description The Technical Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Mexico City, Mexico. This position is responsible for promoting and selling Aragon Chemical’s products, providing technical guidance to customers, and identifying solutions that match their operational and performance requirements. Day-to-day activities include visiting clients, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, preparing proposals, and following up on leads to close sales opportunities. The role also involves offering post-sale support, addressing customer inquiries, coordinating with internal technical and logistics teams, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities in the CRM. The Technical Sales Representative will contribute to market development by monitoring industry trends, gathering customer feedback, and supporting training sessions for clients and internal staff.

Qualifications

• Background in chemistry, chemical engineering, bachelor's degree or a related technical field; experience in the sale of chemical products: flame retardants, plasticizers, smoke suppressants, additives, and others.
• Strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to understand product specifications and translate them into customer value.
• Customer Service and Communication skills to build trusted relationships, manage inquiries, and provide clear, professional support.
• Experience delivering Training related to products, applications, or best practices for customers and internal teams.
• Proven experience in B2B sales within industrial or chemical sectors is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site, conduct frequent client visits in Mexico City and surrounding areas, and manage a sales territory independently.
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills, with proficiency in basic CRM and office software tools.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and working knowledge of English are advantageous for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
