NPI Engineer

Reporting directly to the NPI Project Engineer, you will support the execution of new product introduction (NPI) and value engineering (VAVE) projects at the Matehuala facility, ensuring successful implementation on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Support NPI Project Engineer in assigned project activities and follow‑ups.
• Participate in the development of manufacturing systems, assembly lines, and process methods.
• Assist in creating process sheets, work instructions, and production standards.
• Support prototype assembly, testing, and evaluation of new products.
• Generate engineering sample requests and support validation activities.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to meet quality, cost, and cycle time targets.
• Develop documentation to support manufacturing processes and product builds.
• Support training activities for operators and production personnel.
• Participate in audits, meetings, and training sessions as required.
• Apply quality, environmental, health, and safety policies in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or Bachelor’s degree (recent graduate or final semester) in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience not required; internships or academic projects are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and manage competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
