Senior SEO/GEO Strategist (Nezahualcóyotl)

Role Overview

The Senior SEO/GEO Strategist develops and executes advanced organic search strategies across multiple client brands, driving measurable growth in visibility, qualified traffic, and revenue. This role requires deep expertise in modern search ecosystems, primarily within traditional search engines and increasingly within generative AI discovery platforms. The ideal candidate can design scalable strategies across SaaS, ecommerce, and multi-location service businesses while collaborating closely with internal teams to oversee execution.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO & GEO Strategy • Develop and execute SEO/GEO strategies that hit client campaign goals. Conduct advanced keyword and intent research to identify high‑value growth opportunities. Develop search strategies across a wide range of verticals including SaaS, ecommerce, and multi-location home service businesses.
• Technical SEO & Site Architecture • Lead technical SEO initiatives including crawl optimization, indexation strategy, internal linking architecture, schema implementation, and Core Web Vitals improvements. Plan and execute SEO website migrations including domain changes, platform migrations, and major site restructures while minimizing traffic loss.
• Content Strategy & Authority Development • Develop scalable content strategies and guide content teams on search intent, topic clusters, and structured content frameworks. Oversee authority-building initiatives including digital PR, link acquisition, citations, and third-party platform visibility.
• Reporting and Relationship Management • Analyze search performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Regularly meet with clients and maintain project management best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SEO strategy, preferably within an agency or multi-client environment.
• Proven experience leading complex SEO initiatives (e.g., large website migrations).
• Highly organized with strong proactive communication and project management skills.
• English proficiency (written and verbal) C1 or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and high expectations for final work product.
• Ability to design and document new processes.

Tools & Technology

Experience with leading SEO, analytics, and research tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and structured data tools. Comfortable leveraging AI tools to assist with research, analysis, and workflow efficiency while maintaining a high standard for strategic thinking and output quality. Project management via Asana.
