Mfg Equipment Maintenance Tech 4

Equipment maintenance technician supporting manufacturing operations at a medical device facility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex production equipment across mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines to maximize line uptime and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-response troubleshooting to correct equipment issues and maximize production line uptime
• Execute installation, repair, and scheduled maintenance on mechanical and electronic equipment
• Complete formal documentation of equipment events in SAP system and communicate findings to engineering
• Collaborate with engineering team to test updates, evaluate new technologies, and implement improvements
• Maintain 5S methodology compliance, manage spare parts inventory, and assist with equipment qualification activities

Requirements

• Technical certificate in electronics, mechanics, or equivalent field
• Demonstrated troubleshooting experience with electronic and mechanical equipment
• Blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• Knowledge of pneumatics, electro-valves, cylinders, and basic electronics components
• Proficiency with mechanical tools, calipers, micrometers, and measurement equipment
• English language capability at 30% proficiency level (read, written, spoken)
• Experience with Microsoft Office and computer operation/setup
