We are seeking a L3 Production Support Engineer with a strong background in Core Java, system troubleshooting, and a passion for continuous improvement. This role is based in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

Job Title

L3 Production Support Engineer – Core Java, AWS, Splunk

Responsibilities

• Resolve L3 level issues in production with detailed analysis, code fixes, and rigorous testing (minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience).
• Support product servers and client applications on cutting‑edge platforms; contribute to continuous improvement and continuous delivery.
• Enhance performance of Java applications.
• Design and execute complex SQL queries for database management.
• Use Splunk for debugging, log analysis, and monitoring.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional team members.
• Implement new tool functionalities to meet evolving business requirements.
• Develop automation for provisioning and access management controls.
• Improve user experience through technical enhancements.
• Provide technical feedback and support to development teams.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and communicate within a global environment.
• Participate in requirements gathering, design, and implementation with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of core Java development experience.
• Experience working on multiple Java tech‑stack projects.
• Strong Java programming skills.
• 6–9 years of overall software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with SQL, Splunk, and Git.
• Hands‑on experience using ServiceNow and process workflow.
• Experience with AWS; AWS certification is an added advantage.
• Comfortable with coding interviews via CoderPad.io.
• Understanding of Agile principles is a plus.
