Financial Analyst and Fixed Assets Officer

A leading company in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Financial Analyst & Fixed Assets Officer to join its finance team.

This position is responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis and reporting activities while ensuring the accurate management, control, and accounting of fixed assets. The role will contribute to financial decision-making by providing insightful analysis, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and ensuring the integrity of asset records and financial data.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement).
2. Develop financial presentations and management reports.
3. Record, control, and maintain fixed asset data in SAP systems.
4. Perform physical fixed asset inventories and accounting reconciliations.
5. Calculate and record monthly depreciation and amortization.
6. Support accounting records maintenance and account reconciliations.
7. Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis.

Qualifications and Experience Required

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 4–5 years of experience in Finance, with a strong focus on Fixed Assets and Financial Reporting.
3. Solid knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP and IFRS).
4. Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and amortization processes.
5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, and data analysis).
6. Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements.
7. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
8. Ability to work effectively with numerical data and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
