WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Business Analyst in Services, you are responsible for the understanding and application of business processes and user workflows as it relates to Services-related IT development activities. The Business Analyst role will support the configuration of requisite features, requests, product backlog items, requirements, and test cases to achieve desired outcomes for the Services domain. Additional primary responsibilities include the completion of QA testing for deployed features and bugs/defects, as well as assisting with user guide(s) and/or standard operation procedure(s) creation to drive user adoption. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Owners, business team members, and IT team members throughout the stages of discovery & design and UAT & training. Your contributions will support efforts to drive the successful formulation of business requirements and ultimately, the seamless delivery of system/application capabilities that drive business outcomes.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

• Establish strong relationships with Product Owners, business SMEs, and Technical Delivery teams. Learn what makes them successful and effective and incorporate those learnings into your work products and the ongoing improvement of the continuous delivery model.
• Manifest subject matter expertise within supported platforms/applications and employ the gained knowledge while completing day-to-day responsibilities.
• Support user administration activities within supported platforms/applications.
• Confirm bugs/defects within the system as they are reported and pass to the Product Owner for prioritization.
• Collaborate with business architecture leads to ensure alignment of business requirements with process diagrams.
• Learn and incorporate understanding of epics and features for the creation and documentation of business requirements, acceptance criteria, and change impact, ensuring they are cohesive and complete, properly supporting what the business needs throughout project lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison between the product owner and technical developers to collect and document user stories and test cases in our centralized systems.
• Support unit testing and quality assurance functions. This includes the implementation of test plans, QA testing, bug/defect creation, and coordinated business testing (UAT).
• Design and deploy Automated Testing Frameworks for testing automation.
• Design and deploy guided tours within systems, where applicable, for consumption by the business audience.
• Create user guides, standard operating procedures, and quick guides to support business adoption of technology solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Process Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers to execute on the right priorities and cadence of work.
• Collaborate with business leaders and the Business Intelligence team to ensure business requirements result in the necessary visibility for data and reporting needs.
• Experiment with and learn new processes, techniques & tools, participate in technology communities, and be deliberate about knowledge sharing for business analysis practices.

Nice-To-Haves:

• Minimum of a 4-year degree or comparable industry experience is required
• Business Analyst (BA) certification
• 2+ years as a business analyst or similar experience
• Direct experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Direct experience with Microsoft applications and collaboration tools
• Direct experience with the ITSM platforms, specifically ServiceNow
• Direct experience with any of the following tools/applications:
• Zoom Contact Center
• Claris
• PowerApps
• Power BI

• eMaint
