Buyer Intern

We are seeking a Buyer Intern to support the Indirect Procurement team by assisting with supplier management, purchase order tracking, quotation analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Procurement and Supply Chain operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

About the Role

Your Responsibilities

• Support the management and follow-up of purchase requisitions for indirect goods and services.
• Assist in supplier sourcing, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
• Request, analyze, and compare supplier quotations.
• Support the creation and maintenance of purchase orders in company systems.
• Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in negotiations related to pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
• Prepare purchasing reports and key performance indicators.
• Participate in process optimization and cost-reduction projects.
• Maintain supplier records, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, Finance, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Indirect Procurement team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year remaining before graduation.
• Intermediate English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Strong communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Interest in Procurement, Supply Chain, and Negotiation.
