Upstream Planning Leader

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Upstream Planning Leader for our Queretaro location.

Responsibilities

• Organize the upstream flows with the suppliers to improve the supplier SC performance.
• Set and release suppliers forecast and manage logistic terms and conditions.
• Ensure the update, quality and consistency of key parameters of supply and stock management (ex: Replenishment Lead Time, Quantity, Frequency, Stocking policy...).
• Including logistic solutions, batch size, lead time, packaging, ABC/FMR analysis, components stocking policy, consignment stock …
• Is responsible of the supplier forecast and their accuracy.
• Monitor and improve the upstream SC performance.
• Pilot the containment, corrective and preventive actions to solve upstream SC issues of the plant using the 8D methodology.
• Escalate to SSCMEs for critical SC issues with suppliers.
• Responsible for the implementation of rules and principles of management of suppliers.
• PPEP, Transfer / Disengagement process, SAM audit, Contract / Logistic terms & conditions.
• Use Lean tools for Supply Chain performance: VSM, E-VSM.

Qualifications

• Industrial Degree or related.
• 3-5 years experience in planning.
• VISA and Passport (Travel availability).
• Advanced English level.
• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Kanban, ROP.
• Experience in purchasing, inventory control and order management.
• ERP System experience working with SAP MM module expertise.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• APICS certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Technical / problem-solving skills.
• Solid background in materials management / methodology.
• Excellent problem resolution skills.
