SAP Finance Application Specialist

About the Job

We’re looking for an SAP Finance Application Specialist to join our SAP FI/CO support team in Mexico City. You’ll report to the Delivery Manager within the IM – AMS Finance department and work closely with solution architects, global controllers, and fellow application specialists.

Responsibilities

• Support incident and change management for SAP Finance applications (ServiceNow)
• Deliver solutions aligned with our global template design and architecture
• Be a trusted advisor to global controllers, supporting finance processes and compliance
• Drive SAP FI/CO projects and integrations with other modules (SD, MM, etc.)
• Ensure seamless system integrations with external platforms (with strong focus on SD)
• Monitor background jobs to keep business operations running smoothly
• Translate business needs into SAP solutions, manage changes, and follow through to resolution
• Bring new ideas—support continuous improvement and stay on top of SAP trends

Qualifications

• Fluent English (spoken and written) – required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Informatics, MIS, or a related field
• 5+ years of SAP FICO support experience (handling tickets, solving issues, managing incidents)
• Experience resolving support tickets in a global / international environment
• Knowledge of SAP Finance integrations with SD, MM, and other modules – required
• Vertex (tax/taxation tool) knowledge
• Controlling, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project Systems
• P2P processes – nice to have
• Experience providing 1st line support using ServiceNow
