Overview the position

The Product Planning & Market Intelligence Senior Specialist is responsible for analyzing market trends, customer insights, pricing dynamics, and competitive landscapes to support strategic business decisions. This role drives market research initiatives, develops actionable insights, supports product and pricing strategies, and leads the automation of analytical processes and reporting tools. The position collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, HQ, and senior leadership to identify business opportunities, improve efficiency, and contribute to product planning and business growth.

Typical tasks

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
• Analyze pricing strategies, competitor pricing movements, and market dynamics to support product and commercial decisions.
• Generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on market, customer, and sales data.
• Support product planning activities through market analysis, demand evaluation, and customer research.
• Lead product clinics, customer studies, and other market research initiatives in collaboration with Marketing.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to improve business visibility and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes, data management, and analytical workflows to improve efficiency.
• Consolidate, validate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Monitor sales performance, market share, and key business indicators to evaluate product and business performance.
• Present findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to senior management and HQ stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, Data Analytics, International Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Planning, Market Intelligence, Market Research, Pricing, Business Analytics, or related strategic roles.
• Strong knowledge of market research methodologies, customer insights, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies.
• Experience developing business cases, strategic recommendations, and actionable insights from data.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience automating reports, analytical processes, or data workflows is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence stakeholders and present to senior leadership.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Automotive industry experience is highly preferred.
