Planning Supervisor

Planning Supervisor – Reynosa, Tamaulipas

Responsibilities

• Establish daily production schedules for assigned products, ensuring sufficient lead‑time and sequence optimization.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Logistics to improve and maintain seasonal pre‑build plans based on manufacturing capacity and distribution center storage.
• Review work‑center load data to identify and resolve capacity/load issues, recommending revisions to existing schedules.
• Monitor schedules and assist departmental or value‑stream personnel to achieve on‑time completion.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer order inquiries and communicate schedule changes to affected customers.
• Review, analyze, and edit non‑standard orders against defined input requirements, resolving discrepancies with appropriate personnel.
• Process non‑standard orders promptly and accurately to provide next operations with the requested output requirements.
• Plan all parts individually to meet business needs, coordinating with shop operations on PFEP, container sizing, returnable containers, replenishment methods for pull systems, minimizing human involvement, and integrating suppliers.
• Review item forecast versus actual demand patterns and adjust to maintain inventory levels.
• Identify excess and obsolete inventory, resolve root causes, execute disposition, and take corrective action.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of production‑planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with JDEdwards or other ERP software.
• APICS certification preferred but not required.
• Fluent English communication (oral and written).
• Supervisory experience in a planning area.
• Lean manufacturing and material‑flow processes preferred.
