Commercial Operations Analyst

Job Purpose

This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and solving business problems through data. The post holder will leverage SQL and Python to extract insights, develop scalable solutions, and drive data‑led change across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze business problems using data.
• Extract insights and develop scalable solutions using SQL and Python.
• Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations and deliver end‑to‑end solutions—from problem definition through implementation.
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities, diagnose issues with data, and design and build solutions that enhance business performance and efficiency.
• Develop analytical models, automate processes, and establish robust, repeatable approaches to solving business challenges.
• Contribute to the development of standards, tools, and best practices, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to translate analytics into commercial action—helping teams identify customer and territory opportunities, prioritize account actions, and improve pipeline/coverage quality.
• Coach and train Sales stakeholders on using dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to uncover opportunities and improve execution, including driving adoption of self‑service analytics.
