Role Summary

This Business Analyst role supports strategic project coordination and system administration activities, with primary focus on shepherding projects through governance processes. The role ensures smooth project intake and prompt execution by facilitating meetings, managing action items, and providing application support for ServiceNow SPM and other platforms. This position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to gather and document requirements, and capability to perform basic system administration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help facilitate project governance meetings; prepare agendas, take detailed notes, and track action items to completion.
• Manage and prioritize multiple project workstreams simultaneously, ensuring timelines are met and stakeholders are informed of progress and risks.
• Handle standard application support activities for ServiceNow SPM; analyze user-reported issues, provide resolutions, and document outcomes.
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders; translate business needs into functional specifications for system enhancements.
• Perform routine system configuration and maintenance tasks within established procedures for ServiceNow SPM and Artemis platforms.
• Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business users to resolve defects, implement enhancements, or resolve complex issues requiring deeper investigation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including meeting minutes, action item logs, requirements documents, and system configuration guides; ensure documentation is current and accessible.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding action items and commitments, proactively escalating blockers or delays to appropriate stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, suggesting enhancements, and contributing to operational excellence.

Degree Requirement

Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Information or equivalent degree. Advanced English proficiency for cross-site and global collaboration.

What skills the candidate must have

• Business Analysis Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills; ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar project coordination/support role.
• Core Application Systems Experience working in an application support model, including ticket handling, issue resolution, user coordination, and SLA tracking.
• Information Capture Strong documentation skills with the ability to accurately capture, organize, and maintain business requirements, meeting outcomes, and action items.
• Analytical Thinking Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams and competing priorities effectively.
• Relationship Management Proven experience facilitating meetings, managing action items, and driving follow-through across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement, status reporting, and cross-team collaboration.
• IT Standards, Procedures & Policies Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, project tracking tools). Ability to learn new systems quickly and follow standard operating procedures accurately.
• Top Candidates may have Working knowledge with ServiceNow platform (SPM module preferred) or similar enterprise project management systems.
• Working knowledge with project portfolio management processes including governance reviews, project intake, and resource planning.
• Basic system administration experience or willingness to learn system configuration tasks.
• Knowledge of and hands-on experience working with AI models, machine learning tools, or AI-assisted workflow automation.
• Working knowledge in organizational change management or process improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
• Background in financial services, manufacturing, or enterprise IT environments.

This position will be in Santa Maria Office at Monterrey, Nuevo Leon

This position is five-days a week subject to changes and willingness to work sporadically on weekends.
