Lead Product Support Engineer (PSE)

A Lead Product Support Engineer (PSE) role is currently available at Belcan in Queretaro, Mexico. This role is a full-time position with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical substantiation for engine hardware through engineering analyses, such as validating performance, safety, and regulatory compliance with minimum guidance.
• Collaborate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) – plan, execute, and document the RCA process to identify the underlying causes of mechanical system failures, equipment malfunctions, or performance issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Resolve aerospace departure and record inquiries by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver clear technical communications, including Engine Maintenance Manuals, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, and other documentation.
• Communicate complex technical data effectively to internal teams, external customers, and regulatory bodies.
• Track project progress, report key developments, and address challenges to meet quality and schedule requirements.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering or product support roles.
• Proven expertise in aerospace engine systems analysis and compliance with industry standards, including a proven track record of executing RCA using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), with demonstrated success in resolving complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong communication skills to present technical data clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.
• Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes for aerospace systems.
• Knowledge in Stress, GD&T, Basic stack‑ups, and Manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and adapt to varying project demands.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is preferred.
• Experience with GE Aerospace commercial engines.
