Location & Availability

This opportunity is open to applicants currently based in Mexico (Monterrey or Mexico City) and Canada. The position requires you to work 3 times a week in the SAP office and allows an expected travel of 0‑10%.

What You’ll Do

We are seeking analytical, solution‑oriented Senior Basis Consultants with experience in NetWeaver and non‑NetWeaver technologies to maintain SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) customer systems. As part of the Critical Incident Management team, you will be responsible for the 24×7 availability of SAP systems on SAP ECS, supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving alerts and incidents. You will streamline standard operating procedures through automation and collaborate with Major Incident Managers, Level3 technical teams, Managed Service Providers, Global Cloud Services, and hyperscalers. You may also guide others on troubleshooting processes and technical details for critical or major incidents.

What You Bring

• At least 8 years of SAP Basis experience, including both NetWeaver (ABAP, Java Basis) and non‑NetWeaver (e.g., BOBJ, SAP Mobile, Convergent Charging, OpenText, HANA XSA) technologies.
• Experience supporting large and complex productive SAP environments and operating SAP systems in cloud hyperscaler environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Significant IT Operations experience focused on incidents and alerts (not limited to upgrades or migrations).
• Problem‑solving and analytical skills for complex IT operations.
• Handling operations for IT systems hosted in the cloud.
• Technical documentation skills and ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams.
• Fluent in written and oral English.
