People Enablement and Lead Learning Practitioner
This role will provide much-needed support for the location strategy evolution, growth in Mexico, and follow the sun model. The role holder will represent People Enablement for the region, work closely with INSPIRED for the region to ensure the Americas is supported in local time zones, and contribute to the priorities of a global team.
Principal Accountabilities
- Build stakeholder relationships to identify learning needs and prioritise these in line with the global strategy of MSS Operations.
- Be a trusted learning consultant to understand problem statements and deliver the appropriate solutions.
- Promote learning in the region to increase participation.
- Deliver a broad range of training for the Americas time zone – business, product, future skills and Op Op.
- Provide local People Enablement support for the Americas INSPIRED community.
- Support colleagues in the creation of integral learning MI.
- Produce senior leader people enablement wide reporting / dashboard.
- Coordinate the support and training delivery of the broader CDT team to meet the needs of the local market.
- Manage strategic learning deliverables to ensure pace and on time execution.
- Lead, design and deliver training to meet the needs of the business and proactively address potential gaps / concerns.
- Meet all project milestones and ultimate delivery of outputs on time.
- Achieve training evaluation results that reflect high learning effectiveness.
- Adhere to HSBC brand guidelines.
- Improve Snapshot survey results.
Stakeholders and Customers
- Actively review feedback to respond to the voice of the customer.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to understand training requirements and provide regular updates.
- Build close working relationships with key stakeholder partners in the region to strengthen alignment and relevance.
- Proactively seek and provide feedback from stakeholders and customers to inspire high performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues globally to ensure delivery of high‑quality and timely learning solutions.
- Partner with colleagues to support learning needs and respond to the ongoing evolution of the business.
- Manage rollout of training within set deadlines, establishing resource requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experienced learning and development practitioner with fluency across the full learning cycle.
- Strong leadership skills – able to lead a virtual, global team.
- Strong influencing skills – able to influence at all levels.
- Collaboration and teamwork – able to deliver on shared goals and inspire others.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to execute at pace, identifying key priorities that have the most impact to the business.
- Proactive – able to shape and execute strategy.
- Relationship manager – build and maintain strong relations across stakeholders and peers.
- Ability to provide and receive real‑time feedback to continually improve products and offerings.
