SAP Vendor Master Data Specialist

Job Description

Experienced Vendor Data Specialist with the ability to lead teams in executing system rollouts, maintaining master data, and ensuring data quality and consistency.

• Vendor Master Data Migration
  • Support migration from R/3 to S/4HANA (utilizing the SAP Business Partner concept) via the central data platform (Athena), in close collaboration with the S/4 program, Source-to-Pay (S2P) team, local S2P experts, and corporate services based on aligned data scopes and migration rules
  • Execute attribute mapping, data transformation, business rule application, and automation of migration processes specifically for vendor records.
• Testing & Defect Management
  • Support on defect tracking, and resolution throughout the rollout lifecycle.
• Go-Live & Hypercare Support
  • Provide hands-on assistance during go-live and post-implementation hypercare phases to ensure a smooth transition and vendor master data stability.
• Data Cleansing & Quality Management
  • Develop Power BI dashboards based on defined vendor data KPIs and compliance requirements.
  • Implement supplier data transformations using Databricks.
• Enhance Vendor Data Quality (DQ) management through automation and AI-driven rule application

Qualifications

• Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Proficient in SAP MDG and similar MDM tools.
  • Favorable: Hands-on experience or know-how of STIBO IT systems (STIBO STEP)
• ERP & S/4HANA Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of ERP systems, hands-on experience with S/4HANA programs, and expert knowledge of the SAP Business Partner (BP) concept as it applies to suppliers.
• Source-to-Pay (S2P) & Procurement Processes
  • Strong functional knowledge of S2P, purchasing operations, and operational procurement workflows.
  • Required: Ability to work in close collaboration with the global S2P team to align master data structures with business requirements.
• Data Migration & Automation
  • Demonstrated data migration know-how (mapping, cleansing, validation) and experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in master data environments.
• Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication in English, proactive work style, strong stakeholder management skills, and a highly structured approach to problem-solving.
• Data Analytics & Visualization
  • Skilled in Databricks and Power BI for complex data analysis, profiling, and reporting.
