Process Excellence & Re-engineering Practitioner (Miguel Hidalgo)

Responsibilities

This role is in the newly formed Process Excellence & Transformation function within PepsiCo’s Strategy & Transformation team. The objective is to lead process diagnostics and re‑engineering to deliver business impact through operations excellence, standardization, and automation initiatives across markets, including those supported by our Capability Centers.

• Lead end‑to‑end process transformation roadmaps and specific transformation teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities.


• Drive and mentor Lean Six Sigma projects, process modelling, process mining diagnostics, process automations, and statistical analysis for performance variation and benchmarking.


• Act as internal consultants working with cross‑functional and global teams on multiple projects.


• Conduct Lean Six Sigma Kaizen sessions, facilitated Value Stream Mapping and Design Thinking sessions.


• Collaborate with Hyper‑Automation teams, utilizing Agile and Scrum methodologies.


• Present findings and influence change with senior stakeholders, functional experts, and delivery teams.


• Report to senior leaders in the Process Excellence & Transformation team.

• Business Process Management and process conformance analysis through process modelling.


• Process mining, value enablement, and roadmap execution.


• Task mining and opportunity identification for standardization and automation.


• Agile project management supporting hyper‑automation projects.


• Experience in AI/ML projects to drive process analytics and support business outcomes.


• Experience in change management to ensure project implementation and adoption.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years focused on business transformation and automations.


• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt qualification from ASQ, ISI, Motorola, or similar.


• Track record of delivering high‑value business improvement projects.


• Experience mentoring Green Belt projects and automations.


• Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders.


• Ability to lead cross‑functional projects.


• Strong focus on working with tight deadlines.
