Cell Leader (Mexicali)

Job Overview

Promote and support a clean, safe working environment in the areas of responsibility and be proactive in supporting the cell operators. Act as a positive role model and mentor and coach to assigned operations cells. Promote good personal relationships. Coordinate activities in the operations area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Actively participate in production start‑ups.
• Understand and execute the necessary actions during the shift to achieve the objectives.
• Responsible for the execution of the production plan of their cell in a timely manner, requesting the necessary raw material.
• Maintain updated records and metrics for their work area.
• Participate in the analysis and solution of problems of the operation.
• Responsible for the continuous training of his personnel.
• Develop process control charts and data collection.
• Participate in the development and updating of work instructions in conjunction with engineering and quality.
• Maintain your work areas in optimal conditions (5's).
• All those activities inherent and/or related to their work, as well as the task of their category.
• Adhere to standardized word activities, as well as actively participate in their continuous improvement according to the needs of the business.
• Certain other activities or responsibilities inherent to the position.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required
• Habilidades/Skills: Ability and willingness to interact with people, leadership, teamwork.
• Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
• Experience in aircraft maintenance techniques.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and drawings.
• Problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of aviation standards and regulations.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct support with personnel on the line to the Value Stream supervisor.
