Senior Manager, Strategic Capacity Management

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is hiring a Senior Manager, Strategic Capacity Management, to support the Wound Closure & Healing platform within its Surgery Business Unit.

In this role you will lead and orchestrate the Strategic Capacity Management (SCM) process across multiple global stakeholders, drive long‑term supply chain scenarios, and provide insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

People

• Seamlessly integrate with various business stakeholders who provide modeling inputs and internal customers that rely on SCM outcomes.
• Lead process improvement efforts with a customer‑first mentality, building trust and accelerating data and analysis delivery.
• Apply problem‑solving approaches to bridge gaps in data availability and create feasible models and scenarios.

Process

• Drive Strategic Planning governance, including annual process cadence, communication, and executive engagement.
• Identify business opportunities related to capacity, new product launches, technology requirements, and regulatory validations.
• Apply general management principles to discuss capacity implications on forecasting, gross profit, market share, inventory, and regional strategies.

Tools

• Own SCM models in the OMP platform and scenario‑generation/reporting tools.
• Champion large‑data modeling tools such as Python, R, or Alteryx to scale efficiently and advance digital maturity.
• Own PowerBI reporting.

Qualifications

Education

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree; STEM‑related field preferred (engineering, logistics, supply chain, computing, finance, economics).

Experience & Skills

Required:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Relevant team‑leadership experience in logistics, planning, or manufacturing within the medical device or related industry.
• Proven expertise in building process models to demonstrate flow and constraints.
• Familiarity with simulation and optimization models and tools.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Theory of Constraints and/or System Dynamics with practical application experience.
• Working knowledge of OMP, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, or Jonova; ability to train others on models and assumptions.

Requires up to 30% travel.
