We're looking for a Head Mixologist to shape the cocktail experience across one of Mexico City's most exciting hospitality destinations. We're searching for someone who blends creativity with precision, embraces innovation, and understands that every great cocktail begins with a great story.

As our Head Mixologist , you'll lead the creative vision of our beverage program, developing signature cocktails that reflect our bold personality while inspiring a team that shares your passion for exceptional hospitality. Your influence will be felt in every menu, every interaction, and every perfectly crafted drink.

What You'll Do

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the bar program with creativity, consistency, and excellence.
• Design and develop innovative seasonal cocktail menus that reflect The Standard's unique personality.
• Inspire, mentor, and develop the bar team through hands‑on leadership and continuous training.
• Ensure exceptional quality, presentation, and consistency across every beverage served.
• Collaborate with culinary and Food & Beverage leadership to create integrated dining and drinking experiences.
• Manage beverage inventory, ordering, cost control, and supplier relationships.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, techniques, and emerging spirits to keep the cocktail program fresh and relevant.
• Create memorable guest interactions while fostering an energetic and welcoming bar atmosphere.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as a Head Mixologist or Senior Mixologist in a luxury lifestyle hotel, cocktail bar, or high-end restaurant.
• Deep knowledge of classic cocktails, modern mixology techniques, premium spirits, wines, and beverage trends.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a high‑performing team.
• Excellent understanding of beverage cost management, inventory control, and responsible alcohol service.
• Outstanding communication and guest engagement skills.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate confidently with guests, colleagues, and leadership in a bilingual environment.
• Creativity, curiosity, and a passion for innovation.
• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to bring new ideas to the table.
• A genuine passion for creating experiences that guests remember long after the final sip.
