Cloud architect (Nezahualcóyotl)

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of AWS-native architectures (multi-account strategy, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, Event Bridge) and ability to codify infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt/Open Tofu with reusable modules aligned to Chofer standards. Deep familiarity with AWS networking (VPC design, Transit Gateway routing, Route53 DNS, secure file transfer patterns) with the ability automate processes around the provisioning, de-provisioning and auditing of the resources. Ability to upscale the existing Chofer onboarding, offboarding, and break-glass services into fully automated, API driven workflows using Client and Chofer APIs, minimizing manual approvals and human intervention. Hands-on development using Python/Node JS to build orchestration layers, API integrations, and event-driven automation with strong focus on resiliency, idempotency, and secure coding practices. Ability to analyze Client/cloud support request data using SQL to identify repetitive patterns and systematically eliminate toil by building self-service and AI-ready automation pipelines (structured inputs/outputs, telemetry, and reusable APIs).

Qualifications

• Required: Strong AWS expertise;
• Terraform or Terragrunt or Open Tofu;
• Datadog for observability (logs, metrics, traces) to enable monitoring, alerting, and compliance/audit insights (including SOX traceability).
